The DIGIWORK research team commits to ensuring open access for all peer-reviewed scientific papers resulting from project research. The following principles will be strictly applied:
· When possible, primary scientific papers will be published in reputable international open-access journals (e.g., indexed in DOAJ / WoS / Scopus) under the Creative Commons Attribution license (CC BY 4.0). This allows the public and the scientific community to freely read, download, and redistribute the work (Activity A23 / Indicator R23).
· For all papers published in hybrid journals, accepted manuscripts (post-print versions) will be deposited in at least one of major international repositories such as Researchgate, Zenodo, arXiv.org complying with publisher rules.
As part of the DIGIWORK research project, project leader Assistant Professor Matija Marić, PhD has authored the project's first scientific paper titled What Drives Hedonic, Eudaimonic, and Social Well-Being of Digital Nomads?. The paper has been accepted in a reputable open-access journal Dynamic Relationship Management Journal.
Grounded in Self-Determination Theory (SDT) and Organizational Paradox Theory, the study addresses a critical gap in digital work literature by investigating the psychological mechanisms behind digital nomads' mental health and flourishing.
